Dude, that sucks...
I started reading this thread from the beginning, and was going to suggest adding a divider to your tank to separate them for a while, but then i got to page 4 and the SH was dead.

Well the aro doesn't look like it has any damage, i'm sure you'd rather have a dead SH than a dead aro, right?

The reason I did not place a divider is that the've been together in that tank for more than 1 yr...and such new aggression is really something wierd...

anyway..I am adding more other monsters into this tank...so hang on there...

how big s the aro and snakehead my aro is 13" and its abit of a wus its currently king of the tank but if i add anything ellse thats around the same size it ****s itself

The SH is on the 16" mark...and the aro is 19" dude..

I'm really surprised about that, a snakehead was the most aggressive fish I ever owned.

And although I've never seen an asian aro, south american ones don't seem that aggressive. I thought a snakehead would rip it to shreds.

I'm also amazed you risked an Asian Aro in there w/a snakehead :)

Dude..this is what monster fish keeping is all about...pushing to the extreme..I would be adding in new mates into this tank..after the SH is gone..the tank seemed empty...

LOL

Ownage. Cool thread.

Rocky I like that attitude. This site really kicks ass.

There are quite a few other cool sites out there, where people are very helpful, but most of them seem a bit moralistic and anal, disapproving of feeding feeders to predators etc :D

Well...i guess it is only normal...the theory of big fish eating small fish has been ard since the beginning of time...
