Im just getting ready to stock my first salt water tank. So far ive decided on a pair of clownfish for sure. The other fish that have caught my eye are a black cap basslet and starry dragonets. Accoeding to liveaquarias compatability chart dragonets and basslets require caution. U thinknits possible to get both?

I ended up with a fuzzy lion fish this time
Very nice, that’s my favorite lionfish, do tell me how it goes with the little guy as time goes on.

I love salt tanks and the fish that are available for display, but the non-compatibility list. Tangs especially are beautiful but you better choose wisely because you only get one typically. Oh, you like the potters angel well it might be the only one in the tank if its the first one introduced. Now, I did maintain tanks with multiple tangs and one with multiple angels but it was hell getting them introduced. Thankfully, the client was a hobbiest and he did the work to get them acclimated to each other.
I do like the dwarf lions.
I acquired a 115g peninsula style acrylic tank with a CPR sump that may get set up as a reef but yowzers the cost of rock and a skimmer and lights?

Dragonet's and Mandarin were difficult to raise years ago because they needed to feed on Coepods but maybe their captive bred now and easier to care for.
