omg he did??? My pacu once ate the valve on the intake.. he swallowed it whole until it was seen partially coming out rectum.. we waited a few days watching it closely but it would not pass and we had to take him out and hold him down and remove it with tweezers... add med and put him back.. he was fine..they love to chew..so i gave them lots of small pieces of uncooked carrots after that... can you fix the liner...

I hope I can. It's a 45mil thick EDMP liner. Thought it was thick enough to hold him for awhile. Guess not. Want him?

:ROFL::ROFL:My heart sinks everytime i see one... but my answer is no... i cannot go to that big of a tank anymore... just because it is so much work to do the tank etc.. i need to go bigger for knife eventually but not looking forward to it... pacus are brats ... they are alot of fun...their personality is halarious... but they are also diffficult because of their distruction due to size... but at all costs i would have kept mine..knowing that i cannot go through it again... :(:grinno:

Had to try. Guess I'm stuck with him for the moment. Maybe someone will break in and steal him while I'm gone. Oh well, off to work.
