Drain all of the way?

Hello boyo. It's a bit unclear, what is your tank status exaclty,
1. When did u last actually physically change water?
2. What r your stocks and tank dim?
3. What filters do u use?

There is NO need to change /drain 100% water. I agree with everyone comments above. I u ain't changed water since April, just start with 25% wc per week. And increase gradully if u have to .
Is there any reason u want to flush the tank out?

I agree. I thought he had been doing something. He was kind of vague on that one. If he completely skipped tank maintenance a 50% would crash his fish quickly. I assumed the best when I should have asked. I thought he meant he had been doing water changes but had not broken down the tank or scraped it or whatever.

You have a point there, he was vague on that point. Now I'm wondering myself what he meant by "haven't cleaned my tank since April".

dont take that chance.. keep some atleast 40 to 50% of ur water. n do water change the following week.
