Hey everyone, it's been quite sometime since i've asked or responded to aything on here, i normally just come to read up now a days... However, I recently sold my 220 gallon tank, and have picked up a 150 Gallon. So my footprint has downsized a bit, as well as the length of the tank. I know everyone right off the bat will tell me not to get the silver, unless i can house it for life, which i can't. But i would still like to have it for some time. I'm sure some experiened aro keepers could jump in and tell me maybe how long that could be. But here it goes.
(1)Silver Aro
(1)Ornate Poly
(1)Fire eel
(5-10) Clown Loaches
(1) Teacup stingray sp.
Currently the tank, has a PFS substrate, but i'm looking to maybe mix in some black sand so the color of my CL's won't bleach out. There are 3 smaller-medium sized pieces of driftwood in the tank just in whatever space they landed in when i threw them in. And so far that's about it. The tank is filtered by 2 AC 110's and is currently lit by a P.o.S. t8 30" fixture that is soon to be replaced. More than anything i'm concerned about my clown loaches being eaten by the aro, the loaches killing the ray, or even the poly eating the eel...lol.... Let me hear your guys' input and i'll answer any more tank questions you have as quickly as you can...
For you guys that are going to criticize right off the bat, i'm up to suggestions on other stock....however i would rather NOT get rid of my loach group... and my girlfriend is set on this ray....
