What part of LA did you catch those in? It's a great part of the world to find fish, and electrofishing is a blast as long as you don't ram too many hornets nests...

southeast LA, around Thibodaux in Bayou Lafourche. No hornet nest there, but where I do my larval fish research its a different story.
