drift wood

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea make sure its hard wood, soft wood will have sap and will contaminate the tank. if you do find a decent piece you can find a way to bake or boil it to get rid of tannins or any parasites.

Don't buy one! It will be expensive! Just go out to the deltas, rivers, ponds, or a lake! Ive collectd many great condition and beautiful logs from the lakes and deltas! :) I mostly go log hunting whenever i go fishing. ;)

ill probably go look for some, only scared dont wanna bring any parasites into my tank.
No worries Brah, follow this below if you find some and it will be OK...

You would have to get the wood from a polluted place to have problems, Nature will clean itself just fine Brah...a little bleach just to be sure if there have been any people around it, but I never had any problem...

For shipping you wanna have it dry, or you will pay big money for shipping. but a few rocks or slate or tiles even and in no time Brah she will stay on the bottom... you can soak it in a barrel or the tank no difference...

I will email you in the AM with the pics Brah...
