Found an awesome piece of driftwood in the river. I think it is to big to boil. After I scrub it down a while has anyone had luck putting driftwood in the oven. What might be the best way to get rid of the sap? Any suggestions and comments would be appreciated.

What size is it that you can't boil it?

it is about 3foot long. I don't have a deep enough pot. I think i might just keep putting in boiling water into the hot bath water. I was just wondering if anyone baked their driftwood but i'm afraid I might burn it.

Soak it in a big plastic bin for a few weeks with regular water changes if you're worried about it leeching something into the tank, otherwise just scrub it and put it in.
it looks good and i had no problems. i recommend finding driftwood rater than buying this pricy commodity.
