Drift wood?

BRing a saw, ionly had a pvc saw to cut the chunk i liked from a so foot tree that was like petrified on the beach. took 3 hours in the rain, but it was worth it.

the stuff that i find at the pet store (not LFS) is a really rich reddish-brown color with a smooth almost waxy "bark" is that stuff ok to use in a fish tank?

if you live in a northern stote, you can boil(local resturaunt may boil large pieces for a fee) your own wood pieces that you scout out from some of your locallities. be sure not to damage the eco too much!
go to a local nursery i think they have them thats where my friend got his. they charge like $10 per foot any shape
