Driftwood cleaning

He makes lamps and other stuff out of the manzanita that’s why he sandblasted them this was just some left over stuff I got to pick through for my tank. The driftwood still looks really good I’m just gonna soak it for awhile I won’t be in a rush. The longer it soaks should help with the tannis I assume.

Yes, a pre soak will help with tannins.

Fortunately, manzanita does not leech out tannins as much as Malaysian driftwood, which took me over a month of soaking in hot water and many water changes...pieces were too big to boil.
