Driftwood Damage?

of course glass wouldnt dent itd shatter. how big is that tank and was there water? Did you have substrate on bottom or did the rock come in contact with the tank. also if u had water that rock doesnt weigh 12 lbs in the water. probably 6

It was a 120 corner tank; I dropped an approximately 75 pound piece of fossilized coral. The tank was full of water.

Now it's a terrarium. :D
 
why don't you just put the driftwood slowly in the tank and not to drop it from the top so you don't have to worry about the tank denting or cracking...
 
I didnt drop it. it was standing up on one end just asking for future reference.
also Tenecor stated that the worst that would happen if i was to drop something to the bottom it would leave a scratch on the surface. No dents/warps
Noto- was it glass?
