We went to the Lake (Enid Lake, MS) for the weekend. Well i used this time to find driftwood. I hiked 2 miles around the lake and sunk up to my knees is some parts, kick the snakes and stepped in 2 fire ant mounds! SO FAR A GREAT DAY! Well i found the king kong of awsome free driftwood. I moved it near the waterline and hiked back to get my brothers boat. Drive across the lake to get it, brought it home. I found it on dry land so i had to waterlog it. I didnt have anything big enough to put it in so i pissed the wife off! I tied it to a cinderblock and threw it in the swimming pool. (Redneck Moment) Well its been soaking for three weeks and finally waterlogged. I cleaned it up and threw it in the tank. A day later a sweet smell was comming from the kitchen. I narrowed it down to the tank it, damned it my awsome piece of driftwood wasnt a stump from a Sassafrass Tree. My tank water was turning into RootBeer! No fish harmed and not my pond is a little more decorated
