Driftwood finally sank!!!!

Dose any one know what is the best kinda wood to put in your tank that would not leach out the tan color in the water with out all the pre soaking

Yes, mine took awhile as well...Now I wonder when it will stop leaching tannins...

Mine only took a few weeks but I am SOO tired of the tank looking like a huge glass of weak iced tea!!! I just water change a lot and change the floss and carbon ALOT
