As said in the last post, I'm going to put them in a tote and pour hot water in there. I'll change the water daily for a couple weeks.

Bump. Any specific rocks that you shouldn't use? I went to the local greenhouse and picked up a bunch of river stones and some random ones for color. I can take pictures if needed.

Well it ain't Malaysian cause Malaysian is way darker red than that and don't cost that much but to me by looking at the pics it looks like cypress wood to me and yes it is safe for your tank just scrub it real good and let it soak.
