Try Pier 1, my local one has 2' long pieces for $18

Is this wood not treated with anything? Not questioning that just seems kind of an odd thing for pier 1.

I don't believe it's treated. Alot of people use them as table center pieces I guess.

Anyone else think the prices are ridiculous? I was searching for large pieces and the want $80-$100. Its wood that washed up on shore or at best someone took 5 mins to cut. I really like the stuff but come on. Anyone know a site or have a vendor that have reasonable prices?

i'm hearing ya dude!! some of the prices i've seen u could buy rare exotic fish for lol

I always shake my head and pass when I see it at the LFS. My Dad is forever taking hikes and walks. I just have him collect it for me. He's collected a lot of nice pieces over the years.
