The boiling should kill any parasites, you will still most likely get tannins from the leaching driftwood.

The Tannis is why Black Creek is called Black Creek here in South Mississippi. It makes the water acidic, how critical is this going to be when I put Peacock bass in the tank in May?

I don't see why most people are so against tannins. Peacock bass should love the tannins

I'm not against......I know the bream and LMB love Black Creek just wondering about Peacocks......
