We've gotten some pieces from Pet Cetera, they're pretty reasonably priced, but they were only small pieces.

Our best purchases have been privately sold pieces. We just bought this one last night!

Thanks. :) It was only $55, it's about 22"L x 19"H x 14" W
I also agree with finding your own pieces by rivers and what not, just hard to find that perfect piece!!

This totally hollowed half a log I got is rather unique. Its about 12" across and 14" high.

i agree, i went out and looked in river bottoms and by pounds ect. Go out and fond a pice you like even if its a little big and take it home. I picked up a root from a forest fire, took it home, scrubbed it, cut it down to the size i wanted and then began soaking it for like 2 months in a bin and an extra heater on high to pull out the color. after all that work the final result was very rewarding.

LOL indiana jone's crystal skull.

anyway, I got each of my big driftwood for malaysian ringgit 15.
though the long aquascaping kind of wood cost RM30-50.

do the math. But it i think no where else is selling that cheap other than Penang island

you earned yourself a real nice one. I like this one. I dont like the many skinny twigs pointing all over the place. Im afraid my fishes will fight/chase each other, dash around and run their heads or eye balls into the pointy ends of the branches.
