drilling a 250 acrylic

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
great website. i will price out and see if buying from seperate places might be cheaper though. but if not the 1500 looks good. also i filled up the 125 up to about 14" and havent seen a leak but will let it sit for a week or so to just make sure. so i guess now i need to focus on how to turn it into a sump or wet/dry. is there a difference between the two? so should i build up a tower and how thick acrylic should i use? or should i just put a few walls without the tower? thanks for all the help though in advance

This guy will back up ALL his stuff, any problems and he'll send you new, no questions asked...I ordered street 90's with the vent holes by mistake and when I went back to get the correct ones he sent them to me free of charge and even paid the shipping as well!! they are the good guys...;)
remember; price and value are two different things, and since this is your first sump...:)

thats true you get what you pay for. and redoog i will start the reading now. thats what im looking for is some examples i can see to help me out.

well here are a couple pics of my tank and stand. its still dirty and needs to be cleaned out and the back needs to be repainted but other than that i have not really seen a scratch. im also staining the stand to more of match the canopy kind of a red oak and will most likely restain the canopy also. the last pic is what the front and sides look like with the doors on. also the tank with stand is about 6.5' tall. also the stand needs to be turned around as its the front of the tank but back of the stand, but work needs to be done on both so its not the final resting place. also im going to put a floor on the inside of the stand as its inner most part is 16" and the sump is 18" so i either move some wood to the outside or put a solid floor in for support. if anyone has any ideas of other stuff that would be good chime in i love to hear it all.

well bad news checked on the 125 at the other house and it had a very slow leak in it. so i think im going to try resealing the tank. at least this way i know it will be resealed the right way (at least as soon as i find out what the right way is). so i will continue to stain the stand and repaint the back of the tank. and just have everything ready as soon as im done.
