I have tried to use acrylic for my drip tray, but I end up cracking it. Probably cause im using a wood bit. Do they make special bits for drilling acrylic?

Yup, check mcmaster-carr. they have a very sharp tip, like 60 degrees from face to face.

Yup, check mcmaster-carr. they have a very sharp tip, like 60 degrees from face to face.

Just remember when you are drilling in acrylic to drill slow, you don't want to put very much pressure on the bit as it bores its way through the acrylic let the drill cut its way slowly that way you don't heat up the acrylic and don't crack the piece your working on.

The drip plates i made for my two DIY wet/drys I made out of 1/4" plexi same as the dividers an no sag.
