It's the noise issue mostly that puts me off using a sump as main tank in in the living room, would agree Ade on the 2260 being the best can, only really want to do the drip system to cut down on wc time plus give me fish the best conditions I can. After looking at spurring off one of the returns I think that's a big no no, would never get the balance right.
Cheers T1 have heard a few people have horror story's of tanks bursting, I will give rayray a pm and ask him. There is a guy in Essex who advertises on ac, makes the co2 reactors and all that aswell but it's always nice to get a tank from someone that's been recommended.
