Many of you may remember my drip system that I installed almost 3 months ago.
http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27474

I just wanted to update and let everyone know the results.
Before I installed this system if I waited 1 week to do a 60-70% water change the nitrates could be as high as 80ppm! I tested the water last night (after almost 3 months without a water change) and the nitrates were at 15ppm. I'm sold on this system, it streamlines maintenance like crazy, and makes the hobby a lot more enjoyable (I still get to do water changes on other tanks, but I dont feel overwhelmed)

Thanks for taking the time to read:), I found the results exciting!

gud to know....wish i cud just hire somebody to set it up at my house

I have to do that, but id have to spend alot more cuz id have to buy a filter to get out the clorimines. But as far as im concerned wayy worth it.

No one cares!

I will copy your idea in the near future when I move my tank next door. But it will be slightly different.

some people were skeptical, threw out all sorts of mathmatical crap, said it wouldnt work ect.

I just like to show that huge water changes several times a week are not necessary:)
