Drip system update

Many of you may remember my drip system that I installed almost 3 months ago.

I just wanted to update and let everyone know the results.
Before I installed this system if I waited 1 week to do a 60-70% water change the nitrates could be as high as 80ppm! I tested the water last night (after almost 3 months without a water change) and the nitrates were at 15ppm. I'm sold on this system, it streamlines maintenance like crazy, and makes the hobby a lot more enjoyable (I still get to do water changes on other tanks, but I dont feel overwhelmed)

I have to do that, but id have to spend alot more cuz id have to buy a filter to get out the clorimines. But as far as im concerned wayy worth it.

LOL! Drip is the way to go for sure. Mine hasn't been running as long as yours, but already my water paramenters are staying very steady. It's great! Thanks for sharing this idea.

some people were skeptical, threw out all sorts of mathmatical crap, said it wouldnt work ect.

I just like to show that huge water changes several times a week are not necessary
