where can i get a valve to control the amount of water that comes out of my drip system to make it say 5 gallons per hour flow rate. With ro quick connects

i use drip emitters made for irrigation/sprinkler systems. brand ive been running for 10+ yrs are called "woodpecker emitters"... i highly suggest using the pressure compensating emitters also. Dripworks.com has them... ive also used that site for yrs now for pieces and parts. I get my guages there to make my own pressure regulators. Highly suggest some kind of pressure regulator for ur lines also or ull be blowing fittings/parts randomly. a pressure guage is not really needed, i do like running them in line after a regulator tho to see what is actually happening in my lines. They fluctuate with the house pressure when a sink is on or toilet is flushed so u can set ur psi a tad higher to compensate. They also let me know if something is wrong like a leak in my drip systems, my house or even a city water line break. I ran 30-40psi in 1/4" lines for 10+ yrs. Ive recently bumped down to 5-10psi to try and save a bit of $$ monthly. i believe i was exceeding the emitters readings at the higher psi.where can i get a valve to control the amount of water that comes out of my drip system to make it say 5 gallons per hour flow rate. you can get most of the john guest fittings at ur local hardware store.... surprisingly ive found some of the amazon off brands to be better. i do not recommend john guest ball valves. there $3.50 plus and every one ive ever bought leaked even at a low psi.![]()

I see something like this online but not sure if there are better more tried and true options. It seems ppl use these for calcium reactors

I dont think 3 are necessary at all..really just need to make sure ur emitters are cut down to 40psi or less to prevent blow outs. I had 2 lines/2 guages and recently went to 1 when a guage broke. Its been fine with several t’s and off shoots. Theres 6 tanks on it and 11 emitters.I have a pressure gauge for the main line you think I should get 3 separate ones as they T off? I have one going to a 600 gallon storage container and the other 2 to 2 separate systems
What’s the difference between a needle valve and a gate valve? Is there a quick connect gate valve I can put in front of the needles?I use needle valves for my drip systems, but I use them in line with a gate valve. Gives much greater range of control.
A gate valve has a flat barrier that can be moved to stop the water flow, and a needle uses a plunger directly into the flow. What’s the difference between a needle valve and a gate valve? Is there a quick connect gate valve I can put in front of the needles?
