that doesn't sound like a good idea. in a car is one thing but not in a big top heavy suv. my caprice has been clocked at 147 on a rural highway and the cop just said "nice car, slow it down"

luckiest day of my life. i thought i was goin to jail and losing my car for sure.

Quite lucky indeed! I have the worst luck with cops. They don't even care that im a firefighter/EMT

you guys are allowed to speed? I have a friend whos a paramedic and if they go over the (probably 75, thats 110 here, i think) limit they have to write up a report.

As volunteers we are given a little more slack. We drive a lot slower if a patient is in the back. Unless its one of the most life threatening emergencies. IE Anaphylaxis shock or cardiac arrest.

as a side note, since where all admiting to felony speeding and reckless driving.

I borrowed my friends, GF's fathers car. When i was like 17, and did 210kph...it actually took more time to slow down then to reach that speed.
