Driving Tests

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Passed both first time. Made 100 on the written and around 76-78 on the driving. Lost points for too far from the curb on parallel parking. Riding the brakes and clutch.

This was in 81, manuals were more common then nowdays. My dad made me learn how to drive in a manual.

I passed on my first try, but the instructor commented that I was driving a bit too fast..............wuss

When I read the first line, my mind saw 'road course' and thought race license. Haha

I passed mine the first time around, but I had a lot of wheel time driving around our property and racing go karts for a couple of years prior.

I passed mine the first time. They had their own little course in the back so I did not have to go out in traffic. Our test was driving forwards, driving in reverse in a straight line, parrallel parking and a 3 point turn. My mom let me drive home because I passed. My instructor that just passed me was walking through the parking lot as I was backing out.. somehow I saw everything but the big tree behind me and slowly backed right into it - right infront of her (no damage I was going pretty slow) lol.

I had a court order to get my license within two weeks of turning 16. I had gotten caught riding my dirt-bike (1980 CR80) through town when I was 15 and had to go to court. The look on my mom's face when she heard the verdict/sentence was priceless - she thought I would be prohibited from getting my license and the judge said I was required to get it instead.... :nilly: Anyways, I think I got a 100% on the written and 75% on the driving (which passed) because I had one "incomplete" stop and I parked too far from the curb.

congrats on passing your test... that pedestrian at the crosswalk might be me ,, so don't run em over:)
