Very very risky if you have your aro in a tank. The last thing you want is your aro to hit the lid or come flying out of your tank. You're also forgetting that most people here feed floating pellets. Of course, thats a bit different from jumping for food above you, but my point is, it's definitely at the top and not at the bottom.NiceGuyNick;4842968; said:ArapaimaG and I discussed this months ago. I came up with the idea of dropping the water level slightly and puting some water lettuce and/or water hyacinth in the tank and put some crickets or other insects onto the floating plants. I haven't done this myself, but can someone please try this and let us know if it works.
