I only have this silver arowana for less then a month, grew 2 inches, its around 8" now ,but today I just noticed the right eye slightly bulging with white stuff between the eye socket. The right eye was already slightly droopy when I got it but now its gotten worse. Is it because of diet? I feed them twice a day. I only thought drop eye occurs when they get older.

My understanding is that dropeye is most commonly permanent (without surgery.) And is typically caused by straining their eye to look down, whether it be to find sinking food or to keep an eye one bottom dwelling tankmates. Over time this causes fatty tissue to build up behind the eye. I've seen videos of people removing the tissue and correcting the issue.
