still have yet to see any real evidence that proves it isn't normal. i was hoping to squeeze out some form of factual information rather than the typical internet garbage but unfortunately it doesn't look like it exists.
why would drop eye be a normal thing..why would a fish that acquires it food by looking up and jumping develop DE and still be normal. a real dum thing to think

i have two reds from the same batch and one has DE and the other one dont. Also i dont think its because of fat, cause this one is getting outgrown.
Its just from the other aros looking up for food when its feeding time and my DE one waits until the food falls to the ground then it will go down to eat.

that fish has drop eye in is LEFT eye...

anyway. millions of years of evolution

2yrs, in a tank. how do you know this is all it is? baby flounders start with a normal face, years into it they have the ugly face.

noone has taken the time to research aros to be able to state it.

we all just argue, and i just keep laughing.

me and you tho bderick, hardly care for it as we know it happens. but it is always a debate. my pic was a bad example, but you needa catch the basic reason i posted it.

both are born normal, years into development they evolve.

aros maybe have undergone evolution. adapting to its new surroundings. no need to jump in an aquarium, straight evolution before your eyes in a matter of years.

who knows. obviously noone on this forum does

hahaha, if it already happens, you cannot fix it, those eyes are really dissordered for good...

usually, things that make arowana god somethin like this is because those foods are drowning, or the fishes ( life food ) are swimming on the surface,

but some rare cases, the lights of your aquarium setup might be the one...:headbang2
