DSLR practise shots

Hi xander.fantastic shots,can you tell me how you get reults like that, ive got a nikon d90 and half the time i cant even get it take a pic!!! Do you turn all the flow and air off in the tank etc and what settings do you use,do you use a remote flashgun,tripod etc

i honestly just followed the instructions and settings on here. i also vary the settings to get the effect i want for individual shots

i use a canon 450d, overhead studio flash and that's about it no i dont turn the flow off and i dont have an air outlet in my tank. you could use a tripod but i find i get better results when i hold the cam in my hand hope that helps!
