Feedings such as this have no use except to entertain the sick morbid mind of this particular fish keeper. :thumbsdow

I agree !

This movie is sick !!!

:screwy::irked::duh::thumbsdow

videos like this should not be aloud on youtube and should be removed and the poster should be banned. this is complete animal cruelty, that poor duck drowned before it was even eaten.

i see this as wrong and in humane the poor duck was held till it drowned poor duck was squirming to escape it would on be slightly accpetable if it was killed instantly

Arowana's have been heard of picking off birds from low hanging branches in the wild, hell i've heard of small species of monkeys as well if they get big enough, but to feed a baby duckling on purpose is wrong.

I've heard of the loch ness monster and big foot....

I'm guessing that it does happen from time to time in the wild, but only when food is scarce and the fish is starving. It certainly isn't a regular part of their diet, and if it happens at all it is most likely to be an act of opportunism bought on by hunger.

Someone in this forum feeding live mice to his crayfish! I don't know which one is sicker, the one in YouTube or a poster with crayfish.

I made it about one second into the video before I stopped it. Feeding live mice or birds is just ****ing cruel. I reported the video for animal abuse and all you should as well.

Exactly,

When I feed my fish live feeders they are engulfed whole. It's a quick death, not death by drowning.

There can be no purpose to doing this other than to provide a sick pleasure for the person holding the camera.

Anyone that watches an animal being drowned and enjoys it is sick.

Can't agree with the wild comments as this is a closed system where the duck had no chance of escaping or being protected by his mother.

Lol, interesting comment about the mother protecting it. I would fully support this feeding method if they were in a large pond and the mother was there to kick the arowana's ass if he tried anything. I also think that arowana is way too big for the tank, which isnt suprising since he's ignorant enough to feed his fish a duckling.

I am a hunter, and I feed live food to my fish, but this is sadistic.

If you are going to feed live food like that, make it something that your animal can actually efficiently eat.

No reason to feed it something that is too large like that duckling, resulting in a sloppy kill.

Yes, it might have happened in nature, but why create suffering of an animal when you dont have to. I dunno. Not cool.
