Dear Mr. Bigglesworth,
It gets tiresome answering your questions and then having you not like the answer. I try to help younger members out, but you never seem to listen. You are always looking for impossible solutions to your problems. If you don't like the duckweed, get rid of it. As others have said, use a net and throw it in the garbage.

I sometimes upend the end of the siphon doing daily water changes, it ends up sucking out duckweed.
I also use a net every other day for duckweed, which I feed to koi and goldfish, or the compost heap.
