duckweed

is there any way to safely remove duckweed out of my pond? there is to much and the pond too big to just scoop it out. i have been raking it out every chance i get and cannot seem to put a dent in it. i know they sell this stuff at the pet store, wish someone here needed it !!! anyway maybe there is a fish safe chemical? thanks

While I was reading your post I was thinking, "Dang, too bad this guy's not in Oklahoma". Then I looked at your location and saw you were lol I'm north of OKC, where are you? I'd dearly love to have some. My Goldfish and turtle eat it faster than I can throw it in there.
