LOL just came back from petsmart and overheard a couple talking about oscars. the girl says "we should get 4-5 of these, they aren't territorial"

i'm sure hoping they have a HUGE tank!

i don't know if you noticed this but the name off this is dumb petsmart customers and you are a customer there, isn't that kinda like calling yourself dumb?

I do the service for my lfs and im always stopping people from doing stupid things like "a school of 10 oscars and an aro in a 45gal"(that was last week)

Ya I find It funnier that we don't practice what we preach... But hey I am still a victim of this

I play stupid at eh LFS all the time, if I can get someone to give me a lower price...if they ask questions I will answer truthfully...

if you don't know you don't know. when I was kid I put a jack dempsy in with platies. in another tank i put anglefish in with neon tetras and was sad when the tetras started getting eaten for snacks. the "dummy" is either the petstore worker, or if they're not dumb they're just greedy to point of being evil like the guy in the LFS down the street from me who will sell baby red tail cats to kids with 10 gal tanks - won't take returns of course. i've seen kids in the petsmart fish section who didn't know cichlids from goldfish. we've all been there. live and learn.
