Aros between 25'-30' are the ones who tend to bite arms but aros between 12-20 only bite the fingers when exposed alone :D

How is it that you know this? From your other posts your aro has just reached 20" and this is the biggest youve ever had. My two silvers are about 27" Neither has ever attempted to bite my arm:screwy:

Just found it out from Msmaspoly the one who has her arm bitten by her 30" silver when she's doing w/c leaving her arm/hand somewhat bleeding :D

Ya, as I remember that was during a feeding and the aro missed resulting in biting her wrist. Either way this is NOT a common occurrence or normal behavior of a silver aro.

My RTG has bitten my fingers a couple of times, but only because he thought I was holding food. As soon as he realized it was my finger, he let go and it didn't hurt at all.

When cleaning or moving stuff in the tank, I move very slowly so as to avoid spooking him. I'm way more concerned with spooking him than being bitten.
