Dumb question

I'm prepared to get flamed for this but can rays get ich? Just brought home some temensis bass and they icked out, worried about ray now. Any suggestions?

Yes they can get ick. I would either quarintine the fish with ick or buy some ick medicine and raise temp to 86

From everything I have ever seen or heard or read rays cannot get ich.

Found the post I was looking for on here from Stingray Man. I didn't even have to pull out the book.

Dr. Ross's book states" an aquarist we know placed several stingrays in an aquarium with a heavy ick infestation to determine whether or not they would contract the disease. After several weeks, the rays showed no sign of ick."

Thanks bob, i should have consulted the book considerin i have it but panic sets in and well we all know the rest. The ick is only a couple spots so im not overly worried, ill feed some praziquantel bloodworms if it gets worse. I know enough to know that ray tanks are a copper free zone. Thanks again man.
