hello, i wanted to ask of your thoughts on my dilema,
my breeding pair of rainbow cichlids have laid eggs on the filter next to the intake. its a fluval 4 internal the eggs are ok tho, not sure how strong the intake pull is.
so should i remove the eggs some how
i carnt turn the filter off and put another in so how long do you think my tank would last without the filter is that is my only option.
thanks dave

just leave them.. if they get sucked up by the filter then wait until the next batch... I would put a few flower pots in there, or breeding tubes that you would use for discus... I had mine in a 20 high,, and had 4 pots, 2 upside down, and the other 2 were broken pieces.. they seemed to prefer the upside down ones and spawned all the time... they are good at raising their fry also.. so they might even move the fry when they hatch.. you'll just have to wait and see...
