Eh, my families sorta like that. Both my mother and sister prefer their bettas over actual tanks because they don't want to deal with all the maintenance. In fact my mom and I have come to an agreement; because she likes the look of fish tanks in house but doesn't want to deal with all the extra work it entails, she pays for the tank and fish (the ones I like and she thinks are pretty), and then I make it look good. We both get what we want. Perfect symbiosis.
