refilling my tank from a hose after a waterchange while watching TV..

overflowed tank and very wet floor..

dumbest thing i ever did was to place a freshwater puffer and african lungfish in the same tank........ came home one day to find the lungfish had jumped out of tank(with a very heavy lid on it) and was lying under the cabinet. i thought my mrs had played a practical joke on me! lungfish was fine apart from 10 bite marks across her back which healed. the puffer went! morale of the story. lungfish and puffers dont mix! :WHOA:

I was doing a wc and did not make sure the end of the hose was in the tube. I flooded the bathroom floor and hallway. It stuck for weeks and took a long time to dry up. It was really bad.

One time I droped a whole thing of fish food in the tank container and all.

Patched a 55 long myself, and stocked it with a baby Oscar. Day later I go to check the tank and find that the seal had sprung. The poor little guy was in less than an inch of water so I was forced to move him to an uncycled 10 gallon.

did he make it?

I bought a brad new 125 gallon tank. I got all hasty setting it up and had washed the glass tops in the bathtub. I put one in and went to set the other in place and it somehow folded in and slipped from my hand (no water in the tank). Luckily only the glass top broke, being so much thinner than the tank.....Thank god for tempered glass!

Mine was probally buying 6 baby red bellies offline and attempting to divide the tank from my other two 4 inch reds. woke up the next mourning to find 2 of the babies had dissapeared. I put all the babies in nets at the top of the tank. went out came home an hour later to find all my nets chewed threw and no babies left...i guess the big reds got hungry?
