I wasnt watching my tank when I was filling it up and my step brother went outside and turned the hose on full and needless to say I caught it on time......but in the morning my 17 inch black arowana jumped out because of the stress and killed him self....I was so mad!

This happened 6 months ago and i will never forget it

This is probably the worst and most careless one yet, So here goes I was changing the lightbulb in my 29 hood whilst smoking a cigarette the cigarette fell out of my mouth hit the top of the water and my Albino tiger oscar ate it, died 30min later........smoking kills.

Did you learn from it and quit smoking, I hope?

An oscar in a 29?

actually im not the one who did this dumbest thing on my water tank but my friend..he inserted his c*ck on my 300 gal gar tank..lol he's so lucky because the gar didnt notice his c*ck he did it coz' he's drunk and he's a paranoid lol

experimenting with PH when i was a newbie added ph up to my tank and took the skin right off the oscars i had.

also turned a 300 watt heater all the way up when i thought i turned it down, water was 98 degrees only thing that survived was a 14 inch pleco

i had my adult wolf cichlid smash a plastic top that i had on my moving tank and when we got him to his new home he had died :(

Cleaned my tank completely....cleaned the filters, the gravel, etc. My rays were coming in the next day, when I reaized I killed all of the bacteria so which means thier was many spikes of amonia. This led me to do a %75-%80 water change every single day for 3 weeks because my rays were in the tank and were very messy....that was when was a newbie now thier living happily!
