Dumped a bucket of water i had cleaned my filter in on the carpet.... and it almost ruined the printer while falling to the floor. The printer still works.
Introduced my girlfriend to the aquaria hobby before I realized the implications of a skinny little thing with (apparently) some OCD tendencies. She now has 3 times as many tanks as I do and expects help with water changes. D'oh!
When I was 10 I use to feed my red ear slider frozen blood worms while the worms were still frozen and the turtle was out of water. Poor thing probably had brain freeze.
I thought of something I did when I was like 10. I bought 6-8 goldfish and a betta and put them in a 10 gal. I cycled it, and bought them slowly, and I had it for 1.5-2 yrs. What was stupid? I believed the pet store guy that "Goldfish stay really small. Less than 3" ". They eventually died because I didn't wash all of the soap off of my hands before feeding them.
while moving some rocks in my pond i accidentally placed some rocks uneven, aboutan hour later i passed by the pond and noticed some of my fish floating. i put my hand in the pond to takeone of the fish out and got the shock of my life cause when i moved the rocks i broke the heater. what is amazing is that about half of the fish survived.
frightend my 10 inc lace cat while doing water change jumped out and hit me in the face like a rocket . baught a green spoted puffer from walmart alot of cash and time later doing fine.used a net to catch red belly pirhanhas chewd through and fell to floor now i use a plastic contanor. feed chicken liver to red bellys and put my hand in the tank got bit dosnt hurt tell u realise ur bit. got drunk and had a airsoft gun fight shot one of my tanks 29gal on the floor later no fish died thank good it was like slomo to me probly the fish to. gave away some 6 inch electric blue cics and a 7 inch yellow zebra cic. and the one to top all is fell in love with fish keeping at the age of 5 and never gave it up but its not a bad life style just alot of money and work lol.
