Dust

I have had this planted tank for almost a year.. So far its been nice but the last pass month ive been noticeing a lot of dust in the water. When ever i add a new peace i get dust all over it. Im usein flur gravel all most 3 inch of the red stuff. So what should i do? New power head with sponge or do some water change n skim the top of the gravel?

I have to move all the fish out f this tank and plants... should i just gravel vac the ground or re was it?

Any one? I vac up half the gravel this week n that seems to getalot of the matter but i still have some in the water floating around. Filters? Sponges?

A local fish store today told me its from the gravel.. They told me to try n give ita deep cleaning and water changes. Even thos its a planted tank its from the gravel. Going to try sponge filter over night so i dont mess with the co2. Hope itcan clean some up

Are u running filters?
