sounds like a lot of work for probably no benefit. There are a lot of simpler options that would work better, but if you're adding this to an established tank with no detectable ammonia, why bother?

It's for my new sump. I've got a green basket holding up a bigger basket and the DVD stack will fit nicely inside it. The DVD stack was on its way to the trash since we're the least advanced internet junkies in the universe and can't transfer a file between formats or media to save our lives. I've spent the past few weeks asking, "Can this go into my sump?" Nothing is exempt. And work is free, so I can afford it. :D
I've almost got it together. Pics tomorrow maybe.
 
Haha, You should smash them into little pieces. I think that would be the best media you could make out of Cds. :)

That was my first idea, but then I pictured them sticking together in big, sloppy chunks and changed my mind.
