The wen on our rescued Oranda was covering his eyes...
The vid is of a surgery to remove that part of the wen that was causing blindness...
The first dip is in clove oil for a mild anesthesia, and the second is clean water for recovery...

Well up untill last winter neither did I...
My 80 yr old Ma, fell in love with the Orandas last December, and so far I put her up a 47g bow front, a 100g Koi grow out tank, 7 Betta bowls, 2 fountains and a 10g hospital tank...65 fish in total
All she got to do is see some Arowana / RTC / StingRay action and she'll be a true MonsterFishKeeper.;)
