Is it easy for dwarf hairgrass to send little shoots through the ecocomplete to propogate outwards? Is that the right way the dwarf hairgrass expands to form a carpet?

well ive got 36 watt T5, and 15 watt 50/50 actinic on it, along with the eco-complete substrate and i also liquid fertilize after water changes.

the sand lets the runners run and holds some anerobic bacteria to help your biofiltration and the eco complete feeds all the good stuff
well that wont work since i already layed the ecocomplete. hopefully ill see some runners shortly. im not touching the hairgrass or moving it at all because im waiting to see if it can survive with my light conditions.
Keep us updated with the growth. I wanna get some dhg for my tank too but I have sand so idk if it will stay rooted.
it doesnt need a lot of light. i am growing it in a 60 gallon tank with 2x32 shop light bulbs over it which the bulbs have been used for 2-3 years. it will spreed fine with eco.hybridtheoryd16;3795691; said:
