Dwarf Mexican Crayfish

I got today at lfs for 8 bucks cutest thing ever. Just feed it a crushed snail. Anyone have any tips?
 
Make sure it can't escape.
 
well thats standard with any crawfish. i have had 5 to many crawfish escape. The water is down about 4 inches
 
Ive heard of them, but never kept them. I got some cajun dwarf crays now. I been feeding them crushed algae wafers, dried seaweed and little bits of tubifex worms.
 
Mine eats broken up bottom feeder wafers. He also enjoys stealing(or trying to steal) the snail's zucchini. Funny little guy, lots of personality.
 
i have alot of these. They are great little crays, should be plant/fish/invert safe for the most part. Do you have any pics fo yours?

They are omnivores but prefer some veggie matter in their diet. I feed a mix of a tropical flake and kens veggie sticks or bottom feeder pellets.
