Carg, typically when the female sveni is completely mature and in breeding dress, she will have a pinkish belly a little more spangling. Very nice contrastation...I like that word, constrastation...ah hahaha! Sorry, i digress, but the point is they are sexy fish!

Mark's Ark has an adult female at the moment. Of course being Mark's Ark they want a ridiculous amount of money for it.

I've seen the one a mark's ark...they've had it a while. I agree, like most of their fish they think they're all wild-caught-perfect-specimens...that crap gold nuggets, making them all very underpriced

You live close enough to Scat you should try to haggle him outa some of his lents...haha. In my experiences though sveni was a fairly fast grower. Went from 3" to 6" in four months...thats not too shabby!

Here are the most recent pics. This guy still eats like a champ, but hasn't grown much (5 inchs long). It likes to dig and spit the 'pea gravel' and chase tank mates a little, but otherwise is an ideal tank mate.
