I've heard people talk about 'dwarf plecos' and I was curious about them. I have a small pleco (no bigger than 3") who I have had for almost 9 months who has barely grown. I haven't been TOO worried since I bought him as a common, really cheap, and he eats and is very active. But he's NEVER grown! I've had quite a few plecos in my time and they have all been growers.
I check his poops and his belly and he's just fine. No pics for the moment (I took some but I have to put them on the computer). He's dark.. black with brown markings.. and looks like most commons you'll find in the pet store.
