I buy API master test kit (NH3, NO2, NO3, and pH two ranges) for $24. Lasts years. Thousand of tests each bottle.

3. The ammonia and nitrite tests determine the "cycledness" of your tank. Nothing else! They must be at zero, then your tank is cycled.

4. Gill curl is irreversible. Can be cut back with a scalpel but chances are still against you that it will gorw back fine or even grow back at all.

i do test my water for every thing but the nitrates were the only thin that was high

High nitrate causes digestion problems well before the gill curl. That's the direct result of overfeeding, meaning insufficient bio-filtration/too small a filter, and not testing the water.

the filter i have is not meant for a 20inch rtc the only reason i have him i here is cuz i built a pond with a liner and like 6month later they had like 123635124752 holes so i took him out and put him in here till i re built my pond.

My apologies then... but we are not mind readers. You asked for help. I asked you about five basic water parameters. You come back only mentioning nitrates, nothing else. Others ask you about ammonia. You ignore them too. You are making it unnecessarily hard to help you.

So again, please tell us what the five parameters are today, in numbers, and please describe the tests you are using.

What did you use for liner in your pond and how big is the pond and is it cycled and properly filtered? 45 mil rubber (made for ponds) or at least 20 mil PVC liner (made for constructing walk-in showers) are the best. Some people get away with an inflatable or above-ground pool 6 mil vinyl liner but not for long.
 
hey every 1 frank is in the pond now and he is all better but be for he got better i did like 10billion water changes and it looks like a took out all the nitrates and stuff like that posting new feeding vid of him hand feeding

the nitrates were 60 the nitrites were around 0-8 and thats all i was testing for
