Nice! I’m learning about Dis de los muertos in Spanish. I don’t really understand why, as I am 45 minutes away from the border, so of course I know what dia de los muertos is. Those cookies look (or looked) good!

Making Mexican Death Cookies.

Sorry, they didn’t survive long enough to share.

I can see you treat your cooking projects with the same attention to detail philosophy as your engineering builds. Nice work. I've got to ask, was there any welding involved in the production of those bad boys, lol.

No, welding temperatures were never reached in the baking of these cookies.

They bake at about 375 F where the torch plasma is about 34,000 F.

If you saw some of my past attempts at cooking you'd think my oven was turned up to 34000F. I have to keep things quite simple in the kitchen, leaving the more complex stuff to the missus, lol.

Those cookies look almost too cute to eat.I'd save a few and hang em on my Christmas tree.

Halloween tree??? Either way I wouldn't recommend it. I put real candy canes on my tree, and ended up with ants. It's just just best to scarf those cookies down the day you make them lol.

My grandma made a Halloween tree. It’s black, and has orange tinsel with Halloween “Christmas’ ornaments.

Last year we did a Halloween gingerbread house. Normally we make these at Christmas.

We also do Christmas cookies with the grandkids.
