Eartheater Id

I picked up this little one last night...he's only about 2.5 inches but seems to be showing great color for an eartheater of that maturity. Can someone help me pinpoint an id and genus?

Yeah my thoughts too. You dont see em around often.

They do benefit from being wintered aswell.

Gymnogeophagus species come from Country's like Uruguay & Argentina where winter temps get low, Gymno's benefit from being kept in these lower temps a few months out of the year...
