Yeah, ghost shrimp are good if your bass are not huge. I mean, even the biggest bass would eat them, but you'd go broke trying to fill him up. If you can get your pet or bait store to order some decent-sized crayfish, that'd be just the ticket for bigger bass. There's nothing they love better.

my lmb rapes crays its utter annihilation when they get tossed into the tank :D go catch some thats what ive been doing, although there is a slight chance of parasites. any shallow creek will hold crappp loads of crays or u can get a breeding system set up with marbled crayfish live babies every 3 months and they hatch out around 300 and clone themselves
 
i have 3 baby largmouths, i feed them krill, pellets, carnivore flakes, and live large crayfish. (they just eat their tails lol.) also tadpoles
 
I'd think a 13" bass could down about 75 ghost/feeder shrimp and still have room for dessert. Could get spendy, even raising your own.

wow ur proly right :( i feed mine krill and he goes throw a slab of frozen krill thats like 3 inches by 3 and hes around 6-7 inches, but on the plus side i fish and give him live treats when i catch them, like today i gave him a chub that was like an inch shorter than he is :D
